Hunger to have our nation ripple with revival from coast to coast fills many hearts. How can we help in God's sovereign move to draw us back to Him? Is it still possible?
Studying historic revivals shows us certain patterns. The Bible has a verse considered a classic for revival: "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
Obedience, prayer, and the unity of believers seem to be forefunners of any revival. Is there more that we can do though God is the author and sustainer of revival? What is our role as we cry out, "Father, revive us again?"
This is a meditation on what America can do, but the same call to action spoken of in this episode applies for nations throughout the world. God bless America. God bless the nations of the world.
